ABOUT 4D LAND & CATTLE
In the grasslands prairie of Rathdrum, 15 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is 4D Land and Cattle our family owned and operated hay and cattle company. 4D was born out of the desire to keep the family farm and the farming tradition alive as well as to do something out of the ordinary together with our families.
Our families include Donna and Bill Boekel, Jacqui and Orlando Duran, Rob and Chris Dodd and Rick and Shelley Dodd. We couldn’t do it all without the help of extended family too! Most of us have other jobs and businesses so the family group is very important in helping us in this business.
4D started in the hay business in 2004 with help from Donna and Bill Boekel, themselves 3rd generation hay and cattle ranchers. The hay business grew and continued to thrive with a lot of hard work and shear dedication. Angus cattle and American Aberdeen cattle were added in 2016 as a way to “use the farmed ground.” The cattle are now a very important part of our farming operation.
We are thankful to have the opportunity to do what we love and strive to develop top quality hay and cattle.
